Not all visitor transactions can be recorded in advance. Some guests come spontaneously and without prior registration.
To ensure that an event can still be registered at reception, it can be created in JAMES using the spontaneous visitor function. Only a limited amount of information is stored here. The necessity to register spontaneous guests is primarily a complete documentation of all visitor flows, as well as to be able to quickly list the persons on the object in case of a special situation (evacuation).
The spontaneous visitor function is primarily used by reception staff. The system can be set up using the internal address book or, if available, a document scanner.
Required fields are surname and first name of the visitor. In addition, it is essential that the person visited is indicated. All other fields are optional and can be used as required.
