Visitor management JAMES now also with vehicle management and zone management

Witten, 05.04. 2018: Since March this year, the users of our visitor management system JAMES have access to the new vehicle and zone management functions. The new sales manager of metaSEC, Stefan Schuster, says: “With these new functions we meet further requirements of our customers from their daily needs. With the vehicle management function integrated in JAMES, we are responding to inquiries from the logistics industry, who want to manage their own vehicles in addition to the functions of truck supply control and car park management”.

Zone management is also a new feature implemented in JAMES. This enables users to divide large areas into different zones and to manage them separately. Functions such as training and instruction or access rights within the scope of access control can be adapted separately to the different zones. If, for example, the visitor requires special instruction for the zone of the plant, the research and development zone may again be subject to different safety instructions or house rules. These different requirements have now been taken into account with the new function.

Managing Director Lukas Ziaja commented: “Our visitor management works like a Swiss army knife. It combines many functions that take place around the process of a visit – whereby we also classify the supplier or the external tradesmen among visitors. This starts with the booking of rooms or resources before the invitation, continues with the guest staying on the premises and ends after departure with the possibilities of evaluation and analysis, e.g. with our warehouse and cost centre modules. With the management of vehicles and zones we have now created further useful functions for our users, which are tailored to the special needs of some industries”.
